Hi, I am a software developer with a focus on Microsoft software tools. I like to use design patterns, TDD clean code to write
new code projects but also happy to maintain and refactor existing code. My preferred language is C# but can maintain VB.NET and Visual
Basic if required.
Over the past 5 years I have worked with ASP.NET 4.8 and ASP.NET Core 6 to develop a number of intranet based web application.
The applications have integrations components written as WCF services, REST services, and Windows Services. Externally consumed data
is sourced from flat files, Excel files, SOAP services and JSON posts.
I have extensive knowledge of SQL Server 2018 onwards. Knowledge includes data modelling, data migration, performance tuning, DDL, DML and DCL.
Good experience of using SSRS for reporting and SSIS for processing flat files, XML and Excel files.
Currently studying for AZ-900 Azure fundamentals. Familiar with Azure static and dynamic web sites and a have growing knowledge of other Azure
components.
